Dark coloured mercerized cotton yarn tend to bleed and lose colour for the first couple of washes, so make sure you wash them separately in cold water only. Don’t use strong detergent and dont soak for long. Also, slight differences in temperature, dyeing time, and other factors can result in different shades of the same color between different dye lots of otherwise identical production so we would suggest you buy enough yarn of the same dye-lot to complete your project.
