Mercerized cotton yarn by Kotton is strong and lustrous, produces less lint and more resistant to mildew than conventional cotton yarn. Mercerized yarn stay shiny through washing and give a nice, somewhat fancier look to finished items making them perfect for embroidery, knitting, crochet, string art, thread art, dream-catcher making, bow making, stitching, fashion designing and other art and craft forms.

Slight differences in temperature, dyeing time, and other factors can result in different shades of the same color between different dye lots of otherwise identical production so we would suggest you buy enough yarn of the same dye-lot to complete your project.

Information

For dark-colored cotton yarn, which tends to bleed and lose color in the initial washes, ensure separate washing in cold water, avoiding strong detergent and prolonged soaking.
